Renault

Renault Hungária has been a client for OMD since 2009. The company opened its first point of sales in Hungary in 1989. Today Renault works with 57 authorized dealers in Hungary. This network of dealers covers the country in a well-distributed manner providing an excellent access to either their sales or their service facilities everywhere in the country. Renault has models in every segment of the automotive market from small passanger cars to trucks. Renault purchased Dacia in 1999 and the models of the Romanian brand have been distributed in Renault’s show-rooms since 2005. Currently the company’s range include 16 passenger car models and 5 small utility vehicles. Customer loyalty is powered up by countless fan clubs as well as by Renault’s European race series (Renault Clio Cup) that started in 2007. Since that year Hungaroring has also been a host for Renault’s international race series – World Series by Renault. It is interesting to mention that the winner of the first internationally noted Grand Prix (held in Pau) was Ferenc Szisz from Hungary who was the pilot of the Renault team. The first (and so far last) Formula 1 pilot from Hungary was Zsolt Baumgartner – whose father runs Hungary’s biggest and most old-established Renault dealership.
