OMD Hungary has been the organizer for the countrywide OMD Student's Media Competition. The high niveau media focused competition has been organized for 10 years this year. The winners of the competition can start their carreer in the marketing communications industry. This years' task has been given by our client Wrigley,Airwaves.

In conjunction with the Omnicom European Financial Conference, volunteers from all over the globe have been working together on September 11th to revitalize parts of the Kids Village outside of Budapest, Hungary.

The Mattai-Macher Rankings were again drawn up based on the prizes awarded at the advertising competitions and festivals that collect the most successful agencies within the Hungarian marketing communication agencies. The compiled list is based on the results and awards achieved by the agencies at the Arany Penge Kreatív Fesztivál (Golden Blade Creative Festival), the ADCH Mérleg, the Effie, the Hipnózis Reklámverseny (Hypnosis Advertising Competition) and on the Arany Dió (Golden Walnut). OMD came top of the media list in 2009, receiving 1,250 points in total.
